The client: With a one day deadline, the famous Queen Victoria Markets in Melbourne needed a logo for their recently redesigned 'Sunday art market' aisle complete with shipping container pop up stores and famous Melbourne coffee vendors, all showcasing local artists and traders from Melbourne. The aisle was the historic Stringbean Alley (where, rather unsurprisingly, string beans were sold).
The work: A very literal take on the quirky name STRINGBEAN ALLEY with a hand drawn, hand illustrated feel to it referencing the handmade qualities of the local artwork that would be shown and sold there.
